She shared screens with Bollywood’s biggies, played a lead character in a National award wining film and has worked with over 5 National Award winning directors and this is just the beginning for the versatile Neetu Chandra. Neetu’s journey began in Delhi with a number of modeling assignments followed by dozens of ads films before entering the Indian film industry. Her ticket to Bollywood was the comedy flick Garam Masala, starring Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. In 2006 she made her debut in South cinema with the Telugu film ‘Godavari’ by National Award winning director Sekhar Kammula. Then came Madhur Bhandarkar’s Traffic Signal that gave Neetu an excellent review as an actor and tremendous response from the industry. Her 2008 release ‘Oye Lucky, Lucky Oye’ gained highest ratings at the Box Office and became one of the biggest hits that year. Success continued with 13B which also got a 5 star rating at the Box Office. Its Tamil version Yaavaram Nalam was equally big down south. Neetu is known in the industry for dedication in work and diversity of her movies. She has the flare to mould herself into playing any given character.
